I CAN, and I WILL, WATCH ME.

In the last month there has been a lot on my mind. About what I should do with my life, if I was even in the right state, if what I was wanting to go into for a career is really what I wanted to go into. Now, for those who don’t know me... I get bored super easy, so with that being said, I change my mind ALOT. Which, in someways is a blessing, but  in other ways it’s a curse. The last 4 days.... I haven’t gotten out of bed really at all... I haven’t left the house other than to get a Dr.Pepper.... (yes we all know I have a problem...) I just haven’t had the motivation to literally do anything.  It was until I talked to a good friend of mine yesterday that it got me thinking... “Miranda, what the hell are you doing? You are sitting here, feeling sorry for yourself, feeling like you are worthless, you have no purpose, you don’t have a calling... yes, you make a mistake.... everyone makes mistakes everyday that’s why we have the atonement like what are you doing?! You are amazing!” and today I kinda sat on that. I sat and thought, I am wasting my life laying in bed achieving nothing. I have goals, I have dreams... but I am not putting in the effort to make them a reality. I am not getting off my lazy butt and getting out there and working to make things happen. There is a saying that goes “ There is a purpose for everyone you meet. Some people come into your life to test you, some to teach you, some to use you,and some to bring out the very best in you” this person I speak of... does all of these. I have had a lot of people in my life, either walk out on me, treat me badly, or they just kinda distanced themselves for whatever reason. This person... has stayed. For heaven knows why... they are always there. And they know EXACTLY what I need to hear. Even when I don’t want to hear it. THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE YOU WANT IN YOUR LIFE! You want people who are going to be honest with you... and I am learning that honesty is HUGE. It doesn’t matter if it makes you look like a huge idiot for what you did... or if others think of you or see you in a different light because of things you have done or others have done to you on you journey of your life. What matters.... is you being honest with you, and others being honest with you.  People telling you how they feel. People telling you that you need to get up off your ass and go and achieve your goals! Don’t let anyone, not you, not satan, your parents who ever it is that is telling your these things... tell you that you can’t do it! You can do whatever you set your mind to! You can achieve whatever you want to achieve! Get people in your life, like my friend, that push you. Push you to be better, to do better. To show all the people out there that not matter where you come from, no matter what you have gone through or are going through that you can and you will achieve your goals! My mantra for 2020 is “ I can, and I will, watch me.” I have so many plans and so many goals, and I’m starting now. I’m not waiting till 2020 to start accomplishing my goals. There is no reason to! It is just procrastinating and prolonging the greatness and inspiration I am going to achieve. My goal in life has always been to inspire others to greatness, to let others know that there is more out there for us. God created us for a huge purpose. We are here to help others, to help others grow and achieve what they want to achieve as well achieving and growing on our own. So... to this friend, I say thank you. Thank you for always pushing me. Thank you for always being brutally honest with me, and thank you for not walking out on me or giving up on me. I love you dearly.
